Targemus Terms of Service

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the relationship between you (the "User" or "you") and the owner of the Targemus service ("Targemus", the "Service", "we").

1.2. The owner and operator of the Service is Diliaver Akimov, an individual conducting business in the Republic of Türkiye (Sakarya Province, city of Serdivan). Contact for inquiries: support@targemus.com.

1.3. Payments and sales of access to the Service are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as the Merchant of Record (authorized reseller). By completing a payment, you also agree to Paddle's terms with respect to the payment transaction itself, taxation, and invoicing.

1.4. By registering for or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

3. Nature of the Service. Important Notice

3.1. Targemus is a software tool (SaaS). The Service performs automatic machine translation. Targemus is not a translation agency and does not provide human (live) translation services.

3.2. The translation result is an automatically generated draft. You are solely responsible for reviewing the result and for any use of it. The translation is not a professional, sworn, notarized, or otherwise certified translation and does not replace one.

3.3. Translation quality depends on many factors, including the length and coherence of the source text, the selected style, and the language pair. For languages with limited data available, quality may be lower. Any statements about accuracy (including wording such as "up to [X]%") reflect the achievable maximum under favorable conditions and are not a guarantee for any specific translation.

3.4. Do not use a translation result without independent verification in high-stakes scenarios (legal, medical, financial, and others where an error may cause harm). Targemus is not liable for the consequences of using a translation.

4. Registration and Account

4.1. An account is required to use the Service. Registration is possible by email or through Google sign-in.

4.2. The Service is intended for persons aged 18 or over. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

4.3. You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for activity carried out under your account.

4.4. You may delete your account by sending a request to support@targemus.com.

4.5. Geographic availability. The Service is not available in every country and region. We do not provide the Service in jurisdictions subject to international sanctions, or in countries and regions not included in the list of supported regions of our infrastructure providers. We may deny or suspend access where use of the Service from your location is not permitted. By registering, you confirm that you are not located in such a region and are not acting on behalf of a person located in such a region.

5. Character Accounting and Deduction

5.1. Translation volume is measured in Characters — by the number of characters in the source text, including spaces.

5.2. Each plan has a monthly Character limit that resets at the start of each subscription billing period. Unused subscription Characters do not carry over to the next period.

5.3. A per-request limit applies (the maximum number of Characters per single translation), depending on the plan. A file mode is provided for translating large documents.

5.4. Characters are deducted at the moment a translation is performed. Rules:

5.5. When the limit is exhausted, new translations are paused until the start of a new period.

6. Acceptable Use

6.1. You undertake to use the Service lawfully and not to upload Content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of third parties.

6.2. The Service may decline to process Content containing direct incitements to violence, terrorism, or genocide, as well as other Content prohibited by these Terms. At the same time, texts that merely describe, analyze, or quote difficult subjects (literary, scientific, historical, or journalistic materials) are processed as usual.

6.3. It is prohibited, in particular, to:

6.4. A breach of this Section may result in suspension or termination of access under Section 11.

7. Content Rights and Intellectual Property

7.1. You own both your source Content and the results of its translation. Targemus makes no claim to them.

7.2. To provide the service, you grant Targemus a limited, non-exclusive license to process your Content — including transmitting it to a third-party technology infrastructure provider (sub-processor) — solely for the purpose of performing the translation. Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

7.3. All rights to the Service itself, its software, design, texts, the "Targemus" trademark, and its other elements belong to Targemus and are protected by law.

8. Payment, Subscriptions, and Renewal

8.1. Paid features are provided under the terms of the selected plan. Current prices and volumes are shown on the website and on the checkout page. All payments are processed through Paddle.

8.2. A subscription renews automatically for the next period at the stated price until you cancel it. You can cancel your subscription in your account's subscription management section; access is retained until the end of the paid period.

8.3. Applicable taxes (including VAT/equivalents) are calculated and withheld by Paddle.

8.4. We may change prices and the composition of plans. For existing subscribers, a price change takes effect with prior notice of at least 14 days. New prices apply to new purchases from the moment of publication.

9. Refunds

Refund terms are described in a separate Refund Policy. Because Paddle acts as the reseller, refunds are processed through Paddle in accordance with that policy.

10. Changes to the Service and the Terms

10.1. We continuously develop the Service and may add, change, or discontinue individual features.

10.2. We may amend these Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the website and/or by email. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.

11. Suspension and Termination of Access

11.1. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service in the event of a breach of these Terms. If access is terminated for a breach, amounts paid are not refunded.

11.2. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

12.1. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranty of uninterrupted, error-free operation of the Service and do not guarantee the fitness of a translation result for your specific purposes.

13. Limitation of Liability

13.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Targemus in connection with the use of the Service is limited to the amount actually paid by you for the Service during the 3 (three) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13.2. Targemus is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or the consequences of using a translation result.

13.3. This Section does not limit consumer rights that cannot be limited under applicable mandatory law.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

14.1. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

14.2. Paddle's terms govern the payment transaction as such.
