Targemus Refund Policy
1. General Provisions
1.1. This Policy describes the terms for refunding payments for paid access to the Targemus service (the "Service").
1.2. The reseller and payment processor is Paddle.com Market Limited (Merchant of Record). Refunds are processed through Paddle in accordance with this Policy.
1.3. Targemus is a software tool for automatic translation. The service is deemed rendered upon provision of access and use of the Service (performance of translations), since the result is delivered instantly and consumes computing resources.
1.4. As the payment processor, Paddle may, in certain cases, make the final decision on a refund under its own buyer-protection rules.
2. Subscriptions
2.1. You may request a full refund for a paid subscription period within 14 (fourteen) days of payment, provided that the Service has not been used — that is, no translation was performed during that period.
2.2. If at least one character of translation has been used during the paid period, the service is deemed rendered, and no refund is provided for that period.
2.3. After 14 days, or once Characters are used beyond the stated threshold, payment for the current period is non-refundable.
3. Consent to Immediate Provision of the Service
3.1. When completing payment, you request that provision of access begin immediately and confirm that you understand: once you begin using the Service (performing a translation), you lose the right to withdraw from the service with a full refund, except in the cases provided for in Section 2 and by mandatory provisions of law.
4. Character Packages (one-time purchase)
4.1. One-time Character Packages are refundable only if not a single Character from the package has been used.
4.2. Once use of a package has begun, no refund is provided for it.
5. Subscription Cancellation
5.1. You may cancel subscription auto-renewal at any time. After cancellation, access is retained until the end of the already-paid period.
5.2. Cancellation does not entail a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the current paid period.
5.3. The "paid period" means your subscription's billing cycle, as determined at checkout through Paddle (typically monthly — on the same calendar day of each month).
6. Technical Failures
6.1. If a translation was not performed due to a technical error on our side, the corresponding Characters are not deducted (payment is effectively not consumed). If you encounter a malfunction of the Service, contact us — we will look into it and, if necessary, help with a correction.
7. How to Request a Refund
7.1. A refund request is processed through Paddle as the payment processor. You can initiate it by contacting Paddle support (details are provided in the receipt email from Paddle), or by writing to us at support@targemus.com — we will help arrange the request.
7.2. An approved refund is issued to the same payment method used for the purchase; crediting times depend on your bank/payment system.
8. Consumer Rights
8.1. This Policy does not limit consumer rights that cannot be limited under the applicable mandatory law of your country of residence.
